Working at eve

Our staff support women and children who are victims of domestic violence and abuse to develop the skills, knowledge and attributes necessary to become survivors. We provide information, advice, guidance and support for women and children who are survivors of domestic abuse through crisis refuge support, community based support and through our own intensive, holistic, rehabilitation and recovery programme called Restored.

Female On Call Worker x 2
Working one week in 6: Monday – Thursday 4pm – 9am and Friday 4pm – Monday 9am
Annual payment: £1,698 for one week in 6 plus travel expenses and Bank Holiday supplement
As an On Call Worker you will be responsible for covering out of hours phone calls to the 24 hour number on a mobile phone including receiving, assessing and admitting referrals and responding to resident calls from the refuge houses and calls from professionals. This will involve going out to the refuge when necessary. You will be a dynamic, positive and energetic individual who will have the proven abilities to relate to people on many different levels. Experience of and a desire to work with vulnerable women would be an advantage. A willingness to work flexibly as a member of a team is essential; you will need to be a car driver with exclusive use of a vehicle during working hours.
This post is exempt under Section 7(2) d of the Sex Discrimination Act and is subject to a background disclosure check at Enhanced level by the Disclosure and Barring Scheme before any appointment can be confirmed.
